Have you ever known Love? As a young girl I know I would imagine falling in love; meeting that one person you could give your all too. Yes I am still so young and lack experience in life; the real world; though I have known love. I didn’t see it, I did not hear of it, but I felt it. Love for many people is very different, though with everyone; Love should be unconditional.
It goes without saying that when your with someone; and you both want it to work; that it is a fifty, fifty effort. If one person could do it all within a relationship a man wouldn’t need a woman and vice versa. But we are only human and cannot be expected to do it all. Love is something you build on top of and is different for everyone. Love alone is a trust in someone you may not have in anyone else. It is complicated and sometimes even heart breaking.
I know someone who recently got their heart broken, and it was hard to watch them fall apart, especially since I have always known them to be so strong. But love does this, it trips you up, it warps you’re vision, and in some cases can even make you stupid. “Love Sick,” these two words are funny to me, but all too true. In the beginning things are “Perfect” and you almost can’t believe it yourself, you spend your time with that person, you are always thinking about them, talking about them, and in this perspective you are “Love Sick.” Then there are the bad endings where that person leaves you dumb founded, upset, depressed, pissed off, and/ or in shambles; wanting them back (Or secretly hoping for an accident XD); so in this perspective you are also “Love Sick.”
Love can leave you on cloud nine, and when this happens do not stop trying to make things better. Improvement is always necessary, communication will always be needed, the small things WILL ALWAYS MATTER. When you are on cloud nine, and you are head over heels in love, cherish these moments, hold on to them as tight as you can, because sometimes when you let them go they don’t come back.
Love can leave you in pieces, and when this happens there is only one thing to do… You need to pick up the pieces and put them back together. This will not be easy and anyone who tells you otherwise, is either lying or was never truly in love to begin with. Love is like a drug and when it walks away, or leaves you with no choice but to walk away; it feels like something tore your heart out and ran a mile with it in their shoe. So putting the pieces together will be hard, like a twenty-thousand piece puzzle, but the other similarity between the two is THAT IT IS POSSIBLE!! You will be the same person you were in the beginning. No one can change that.
Love is a funny thing. It is painful and yet delightful. When you get you chance with love, grab it by the hand and make it work for you.
